Bringing out your natural dynamic and authentic connections. You’ll never feel awkward or be told to stand there all stiff, saying “cheeeeeese” again and again. Instead, we’re gonna experience your raw, beautiful, candid emotions, and get real controversial with prompts like, “Look at whoever has the stinkiest feet in the family!”
Going with the flow and letting your kids lead the way. I know how chaotic and messy a photoshoot (or anything in life!) can be with little humans. So at your session, we’re not following my lead. We're chasing butterflies with your daughter, stealing a taste of the cookie spatula your son is licking clean, and carving your path down memory lane!
Shooting at a location that means something to you. Whether it’s in your home where your love lives everyday, the college where you two first locked eyes, or simply that the mountains remind you of walks with your grandfather, I’m all about special backdrops that will tell and honour your family’s story from one generation to the next.
Adapting to your unique needs. If anyone has mobility considerations or requires extra support, you are accepted and welcome to be completely yourselves. As a former Special Education Assistant, I’m always thinking about fostering safe, inclusive, and accessible environments. And you better believe I’ve always got a circle time song or two up my sleeve!

HOW LONG WILL MY SESSION BE?
Something you need to know about me is that I don’t set hard and fast rules. A family or couples photoshoot is usually an hour long, but I’ll never end a magical moment or crash the party just cause “your time is up.” If we’re in an amazing flow and there’s still some gold for me to capture, I’m going to make sure we get it!
HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL I RECEIVE?
As many moments as we shared and captured together! For a family or couples session, you’ll get a minimum of 60 photos, and for a wedding, you’ll get at least 100 per hour. However, I usually get handfuls of amazing shots — you’re too beautiful to narrow ‘em down to just a few — so I'll always aim for more photos that you can enjoy forever.
HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN BE AT MY SESSION?
Family sessions include five people, but bring the whole crew — the more the merrier! Each additional person can be added on for $25 each.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
My photography style is characterized as light and airy, so if you’re dressed in neutrals and something flowy, your photos will come out beautifully. I’ll also send you a style guide with inspo, and I’m always just an email away if you wanna bounce ideas off me!
HOW FAR WILL YOU TRAVEL?
I call Maple Ridge home, but I’m always down for an adventure! I’m happy to meet you anywhere in Metro Vancouver or the Fraser Valley. If you’re thinking of somewhere further, just shoot me a message, and we can figure it out together!
WHEN WILL I GET MY PHOTOS BACK?
I know you’re dying to see your photos — I’ll send them as soon as I can! Family sessions are ready within 2–3 weeks. Intimate weddings or elopements take about a month, but you’ll get a sneak peek within 48 hours. If you need your photos sooner, I can turn them around quicker for an additional cost depending on the scale of your session.
CAN YOU RETOUCH MY PHOTOS?
I’ll retouch any blemishes you have on the day of your session, but I won’t change anything about your body shape. I’m here to celebrate every person’s natural beauty and who they are right now in this season of life. Let’s embrace it!
I FORGOT TO DOWNLOAD MY GALLERY. DO YOU STILL HAVE MY PHOTOS?
The short answer is, yes: I’m keeping all your photos safe on my harddrive! But as soon as you receive your photo gallery, please, please download them onto your own computer and back them up yourself. After three months, I’ll delete your online gallery — and reality is, harddrives can be unpredictable. For an additional cost, I can also give you a USB stick with all your photos.
I’m sorry, no. I’ve spent a lot of time developing my photography and editing style, and your final, edited photos is what makes them an original Marta Marta Photography! It also ensures that photos posted and attributed to me is aligned with my brand, so others are getting an accurate representation of my artistic style.
CAN YOU SEND ME THE RAW PHOTOS? CAN I EDIT MY OWN PHOTOS?
Yes! Your photos hold memories and stories that should warm hearts for generations — so I’d love nothing more than to help you print your photos or an heirloom album for an extra cost. Just choose your faves, and I’ll get your prints or album professionally printed and delivered right to your doorstep! I can also give you a memory stick with all your photos for an additional cost.
