Hello there, I’m Marta, a passionate, Vancouver, BC-based family, couples, and wedding photographer! My heart beats for creativity, genuine connections, and the beauty of life’s fleeting moments. And if you need *the* perfect playlist, a dance floor broken into, or someone to share a New York pizza with, I’m also your girl!
As a mother and a lover of photography, I intimately understand the depth of emotion, the joy, and the little wonders that fill every day. My lens doesn’t just capture photographs, but tells an intricate story of the love, laughter, and tenderness that make up your family’s unique bonds.

Hey, I'm Marta!

…also, infamously the girl who was once so obsessed with Justin Timberlake that she actually walked onto a movie set to meet him. You better believe I have the photo to prove it!
My partner Andre and I share a little rascal named Nolan, aka Mr. Personality, who we absolutely adore and spoil to bits. There was a time in my life where I questioned if I’d ever be granted the opportunity of being called ‘mom’, but thankfully dreams do come true (thanks Andre!) — I just waited 40 years for mine!
I’m a lover of all things that bring people together, like gathering with family and friends, playing games, and busting out our best moves to the best tunes… all alongside some adult bevvies!
I was raised by my mom who’s my hero, and my grandmother who’s my BFF. I talk to them about 10 times a day — and that’s an understatement!
I love love and believe kindness, respect, and being able to listen to someone else’s life story makes you a better person. That’s why I’m so infatuated with helping families and lovebirds like you document the beauty of your journey through this amazing thing we call life!
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me immersed in other passions. As a music enthusiast, I believe life’s symphony is composed of laughter, love, and the melodies that resonate within us.

It's confession time!
"We have an infant and a child with a disability, and she made it easy for all of us."
We had never done a session with a professional photographer and I can’t emphasize enough how easy and natural Marta made the whole process for us!
Marta prepped ahead of time, gave clear instructions, and had a great attitude throughout. Everyone was comfortable, laughing and happy with how fast it was.
And obviously the most important point is how much we LOVE our pics — everyone always comments on how great they are. Marta captured tender smiles and sincere laughs on a gorgeous backdrop and we can’t get enough!

I’ve worked with Marta on two separate shoots so far. Each one we explored a very different image. I was clear with Marta about the messages I wanted to convey.
Not only did she “get it”, but she took it to the next level, and together we came up with some still shots that were really impactful.
She always kept me laughing, and this was so important since we were shooting in the freezing cold (we did what it took to get the right shot!).
Marta’s energy, passion for her work, and kind and caring nature made working with her a memorable experience. Marta is incredibly creative and knows how to make the world around her look better!
